박수는 일상 속의 언어 기호이며, 감정의 구체화된 표현이자 인간의 원초적인 충동입니다. 사람들은 박수를 통해 감정을 표현하고 전달합니다. 기쁠 때, 화날 때, 불안할 때, 생각할 때 박수를 칩니다. 우리는 어쩌면 무의식적으로, 아기 때 배운 동작 중에서 뒤집기와 기어가기 외에도 박수를 쳤다는 것을 잊고 있을 수 있습니다. 박수로 만들어지는 리듬은 심장 박동처럼 생명의 리듬을 닮았습니다. 생명이 끝나갈 즈음, 사람들은 너무 많은 것을 잊고 심지어 자신의 이름도 잊을 수 있지만, 박수의 리듬처럼 마음에 새겨져 절대 잊히지 않는 것이 있습니다.
그러니, 우리 함께 박수를 쳐 봅시다.
