2026 ARTSinTANK Winter Camp
The 2026 ARTSinTANK Winter Camp is an international creation camp developed in collaboration with a Korean temple stay program.
Artists from five countries—dancers, choreographers, and musicians—came together to engage in an intensive, short-term collaborative creation process.
The camp resulted in three main outcomes:
- Dance & Music Lab Showcase
- Choreographers’ Showcase
- Live Music & Improvisation Performances.
Focusing on process-driven creation, international exchange, and artistic experimentation, the Winter Camp provided a unique platform where choreography, music, and improvisation intersected within the distinctive environment of a temple space.
Selected works developed during the camp are expected to be presented at
ARTSinTANK Dance Festival in Korea

Journey by Day
Day 1 | Meeting & Group Formation

- Temple tour & room assignment

- Group formation through a drawing process
- Beginning of the Dance & Music Lab
Day 2–4 | Creation, Collaboration & Movement Workshops
9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Movement meditation (opening body and mind)
- Korean Traditional Dance

- Korean Samulnori (traditional percussion)
- Understanding Dance & Music
- Dance Improvisation
After 4:00 PM (24-hour open temple space)
- Dance & music collaborative creation
- Improvisation, rehearsals
- Late-night creative process and work-in-progress sketches
Day 5 | Showcase & Sharing
- Dance & Music Lab Showcase (group-based collaborative works)
- Choreographers’ Showcase (solo works inspired by nature)
- Live improvisation performance with cello Bach’s “Air on the G String”
